More death from earthquakes are expected in the 21^st century due more to the fact that there are more people living in the earthquake zones than because we will experience more earthquakes according to the USGS report referenced in this article and video.  Nonetheless, the report does stipulate that there is a prediction that we will also experience an increase in the number of earthquakes in the 21^st century.  What if we start having the stronger tremors in diverse places or in places were earthquake do not normally occur?  It is easy to verify that earthquakes in diverse places are indeed happening now.  Just today (February 22^nd) there was a 2.2 earthquake in South Carolina.  There is no doubt that mother earth is seriously moving and shaking much more lately.  This report should be considered a pretty strong warning from the USGS.  We should all take heed; especially those of us who live in a renowned earthquake zone.
